| This Blue-green Barrier Canyon Style Anthropomorph has ben vandalized with bullet holes at Thompson Wash in Utah. The blue color is obtained from copper carbonate containing minerals azurite and lazurite which are ground to a powder and mixed with water and organic matter including blood, animal fat, saliva, or plant juices. It is very stable as an artistic pigment. |
