| This panel has been protected from the elements by a large overhang and the paint is in excellent condition. Holes for eyes and mouth were placed after painting and do not appear to be the result of vandalism. Other Barrier Canyon Style images have similar markings. The chest defect appears to be of similar age and may simply be a natural defect in the sandstone |
