Fremont Gallery

In the autumn the Fremont would lie in wait for bighorn sheep as they descended to lower elevations. A large number of ewes and lambs are displayed as well as hunters with bows and arrows. An anthropomorph on the right is disguised as a bighorn sheep. The image at the top is thought to be a shaman seeking spiritual guidance for a successful hunt. Nine Mile Canyon, Cottonwood Canyon
