The Navajo petroglyph on the left is Black God, creator of fire and heavenly constellations. When Black God entered the Hogan of creation he carried the Pleiades constellation at his right ankle. After stamping his right foot four times the Pleiades cluster settled at his left temple where Black God said it was to remain. He then retrieved other constellations from a fawn skin bag and placed them in the sky. A crescent moon is visible on the forehead of the petroglyph as well as  a cluster of seven stars on the right forehead.
